NEW MEMBERS WELCOME ŕ We currently have space for 4 beaver scouts in both sections and 2 spaces in the Cub Pack.  If you know of any child who would like to join please let the leaders know and they will place them on the list to join in Feb / March. A recruitment campaign will be run during the month of January / February.

Expansion of Venturer Group

The Venturer section has 10 in the section and they are still accepting new members, if you know of any young people between 15-19 years and would like to get involved send them down to the den.

12 Days of Christmas

The 12 days tickets were a complete success with the group selling almost €3800 of tickets. A reduction of €20.00 was given to each seller of a full book of tickets, reducing their registration fees.  The Group retained the remainder to help pay for the running costs of the Group.

NEW UNIFORM ON THE WAY ŕ National Council was held on 16th & 17th October.  At this meeting a new uniform for all beavers, cubs, scouts, ventures and leaders was agreed and will be available soon possibly September 2005.  The current uniform will be worn until a Scouter moves to a new section or needs to buy a new uniform.  This transition will last until the end of 2006. The old uniform is available at the moment in the Scout Shop.

Mobile phone collection ŕ If you have any old phones please bring them down to the den as we can raise a small sum for each phone collected.

A recycle bin has been placed at the main door
