Well it's finally here and open...

Presenting the great wall of Fairview!

Hold your breath no longer, the wall is up and ready. After a long year of fundraising, organising, planning and building, it has all come together. And if you've seen it close up, you'll agree it's quite a feat. Well done to Denis and his band of helpers

At the Group investiture on the 7th of Dec '04

the Climbing wall was officially opened.

Three scouts, Matthew, Paul and Niall opened the

wall from an elevated position.

In the coming weeks and months the leaders

will recieve training in climbing techniques

and safety procedures.

No youth members will be allowed to use the

wall until a certified leader is present
